Uzbekistan Highlights Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival and City Tour in Tashkent

After your arrival at the Tashkent International Airport, you will meet your guides and transfer to your hotel to check-in. After, you will head out on an excursion in Tashkent, where you will visit a number of historical and cultural sites, such as the Hasti Imam complex, which includes the Muyi Muborak Library with real Holy Osman Koran, Barakhan Medresah and Kaffal Ash-Shashiy Mausoleum.

Your walking tour will begin from Chorsu bazaar, before taking you to Independence Square, the Romanov’s Palace, and the Alisher Navoi Theatre complex.

Day 2 Flight to Urgench and Walk Tour of Khiva

After an early breakfast, you will transfer to the domestic airport for a morning flight to Urgench. Upon arrival you will enjoy a walking tour of Khiva and its historic buildings.

In the afternoon, you will check into your hotel, followed by a visit to the Palvan- Darvaza Gate, Medrese of Abdulla-Khan, Minaret and Mosque of Khodja-Islam, Madrassah of Shergazi-Khan, and Mausoleum of Pakhlavan Makhmud.

Day 3 Drive to Bukhara by Kizil-Kum Desert

Take some time to enjoy breakfast in the hotel before making the drive to Bukhara through the Kizil-Kum Desert. Along the way, you will stop near the banks of the Amudarya River for a scenic photo opportunity.

Upon your arrival in Bukhara, you will transfer to a hotel to settle into your overnight accommodations.

Day 4 Bukhara Excursion

After breakfast, you will have an action-packed day of excursions ahead of you in Bukhara. The itinerary includes Samanids’ Mausoleum, Chashmai Ayub Mausoleum, Bolo-Khovuz mosque, Ark Fortress, and the Poi-Kalyon complex. You will also visit the Ulugbek and Abdulaziz Khan madrassas, Magoki Attori mosque, Trade Domes (Toki-Zargaron, Toki-Telpakifurushon and Toki-Sarrofon), and Labi Khovuz complex. You will likely be tired after all the sightseeing, so settle into your hotel accommodation for the night.

Day 5 Drive to Samarkand and Gijduvan

Enjoy breakfast in the hotel before making the drive to Samarkand. On the way, you will stop at Gijduvan to visit the famous ceramicist Mr. Nazrullaev’s workshop, the Vabkent Minaret from the 11th century, the “Rabat Malik'' caravansary and the “Sardoba'' water reservoir in Karmana.

Day 6 Samarkand Excursion and Travel Back to Tashkent

After breakfast, you will have a full day of excursions in the legendary city of Samarkand. While out and about you will visit Afrosiyob Museum & hill, Observatory of Ulugbek, Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, and Bibi-Khanum Mosque – the largest mosque in Central Asia. You will also have the chance to visit the oriental bazaar Siyab, Registan Square and the Guri-Emir mausoleum.

In the evening, you will take the Afrosiyob train to Tashkent, where you will transfer to your hotel for the night.
