    Route Description for Välliste runt

    The Valliste Runt hike starts on the backside of “Trillevallens Högfjällshotell”. From there, follow a track through the forest, over mires and brooks. Sweet little houses and trees line up to the mountain. Here you turn right and will walk on a track around the mountain top with magnificent views over the mountains and lakes.

    The track leads you to the top where there is also an open cabin with history boards. Enjoy the views and go down again on the side with slopes - there is also good chances to find snow from the winter that you can slip down on.

    When you come down to the flat ground you just follow the big gravel trail back. There are many deer here, and on the right side you will see a reindeer coral, where they tend to gather.

    Then you are back in the parking lot again.

    • If you want to stay in one of the sweet houses with mountain views you can just google “Trillevallen stugor”. They have great prices.
    • From Trillevallens parking lot you can find many day hikes that are really beautiful and also with much less people.

    Getting to the Välliste runt Trailhead

    From Are take the E14 towards Undersåker and turn right to the sign “Trillevallen.” Drive to “Trillevallens högfjällshotell” there you can park your car.
