Hiking the Silvertip Loop Trail is a nice way to escape the downtown centre of Canmore and take in scenery from the sunny side of town. With towering peaks across the valley and a picturesque golf resort surrounding you, this trail is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet and secluded pathway.
Route Description for Silvertip Loop
The Silvertip Loop Trail begins in the centre of the Silvertip Resort. The resort offers excellent casual fine dining options, and if you’re up to it, you can take your chance at booking a tee time at the golf course. Begin the trail by following the path to the left, hiking in a clockwise direction. After 1640ft, cross Silvertip Trail and follow the pathway to a junction. After 984ft, stay right to circle back into the resort area. The path remains clear as it returns to the starting point.Getting to the Silvertip Loop Trailhead
Getting to the Silvertip Loop trail is simple. From Benchlands Trail, turn onto Silvertip Trail, following signs for the resort. Stay on Silvertip Trail as it curves left and find the trailhead just before the main resort building.Route Information
