Three Sisters Creek Trail is a short trail that can be hiked year-round. It is a side trail off of the popular Highline Trail. This route sees much less traffic than the Highline. It is a secluded trail in the forest that follows the creek the entire way.
Route Description for Three Sisters Creek Trail
Hiking the Three Sisters Creek trail is a great way to get a short hike in while skipping the popular Highline Trail. This route starts at the same trailhead as the Highline and quickly detours up the creek.
From the large gate at the corner of Hubman Landing and Three Sisters Boulevard, join the trail, hiking up into the woods. After 1.2 km, take the trail to the left following Three Sisters Creek. Follow the creek for 500 m before reaching an end point and turning around. This trail is great for children and families alike.
Getting to the Three Sisters Creek Trail Trailhead
To get to the Three Sisters Creek Trail, take Highway 1 eastbound from Canmore, taking the exit for Three Sisters and staying right off the exit. Continue straight on Three Sisters Boulevard, passing a four-way stop. When you reach the end, turn right onto Hubman Landing and park on the street.
