Route Description for Dockey Wood Walk
The Dockey Wood Walk is a great family-friendly hike in the Chilterns that winds through an eerie set of woods and the charming countryside. This hike can be muddy, so be sure to consider this before you pack up and go. There’s also a steep hill, but hopefully, the sheep grazing beside it will help keep you entertained as your heart rate picks up. This is a lollipop route, so you’ll follow Nettleden Road, followed by New Road, from the car park towards the loop's start. After you finish the loop, you’ll head back along these same roads towards your car. When the circuit starts, head in a clockwise direction toward Dockey Wood.
