Route Description for Henley-on-Thames and Aston Walk
The Henley-on-Thames and Aston Circular Walk is a fun, family-friendly morning or afternoon activity that follows a partially paved path along River Thames while also taking you through open fields and shaded woodland. The scenery along this walk is embroidered with charm!
After walking along the river for about 600 m, you will take a right just before The Red Lion Hotel to cross the River Thames. Continue straight past the Leander Club to start your loop around! Once you finish your circuit, you’ll meet back up with the same 600 m-long path along River Thames, which you’ll take back to your car.
Getting to the Henley-on-Thames and Aston Walk Trailhead
To get to the start of the Henley-on-Thames and Aston Walk, head to Meadow Road, which will lead you to a parking lot along the River Thames at the River and Rowing Museum. Parking here requires a fee!
