Route Description for Louise McKinney Riverside Park trail
Starting at the western edge of the park, begin your hike along the Louise McKinney Riverside Park Trail by heading left towards the Shaw Convention Centre and Ukrainian Shumka Stage. Continue along the trail to the Chinese Garde, and begin heading south towards the river. You will come to the Pedestrian Bridge and a large Pavillion. Stay left, following the river valley route with unobstructed river views. Turn back towards the pedestrian bridge. Pass the bridge and continue along the river to where you began.
This park is a must-do when visiting Edmonton. It is easily accessed from downtown and connected to the River Valley Trail and many other parks. There are often public events and festivals in this diverse and unique park in the city.

To get to Louise McKinney Riverside Park Trail from downtown Edmonton, take 95 St to 101 Ave NW and follow signs for the park. You will begin your route next to the Edmonton Convention Centre.
