Immerse yourself in nature as you traverse the forested path up to the mountain cirque and alpine lake. Not only will you hike through lush forestlands, but you will pass through vast meadows and tree burn. The easy-to-navigate terrain and gradual grade up to the lake means this hike is easily manageable by hikers of most skill levels. Note a bit of stamina is needed to complete this excursion as it is on the longer side.

Travel through the plains and admire the encompassing mountainous scenery before the path guides you below the tree shade. Trek up the forested path, and you will eventually intersect with Vance Creek. Hike up the route, and the tree coverage will become more sparse, and you travel through the burn.
