Route Description for Covey Meadow Loop Trail
The Covey Meadow Loop Trail is a great trail for both hiking and skiing. Hiking through the trees, you will come across meadows filled with wildflowers and may catch a glimpse of the wild animals that call the trail home. Although the mountains are far off in the distance, you will be able to see the peaks of the North Fork Area of Glacier National Park. This is a short trail, and you will head back the way you came once you are finished exploring as it is an out and back.

Getting to the Covey Meadow Loop Trail Trailhead
To get to Covey Meadow Loop Trail from Apgar, take Apgar Loop/Lake View Drive to Camas Road and turn right. After 18.3 km, turn right onto North Fork Road and after 20.8 km, turn right towards the Polebridge Loop. This turns into Glacier Drive, and you continue for 1.1 km, and your destination will be on the left.
