Route Description for Rockwell Falls Trail
Rockwell Falls Trail provides some of the best scenery in all of Glacier National Park. The trail begins at the South Shore Trailhead at Two Medicine Lake. At the 0.4 km point, you’ll notice a small trail called Paradise Point. Take a moment to wander down that trail, and you will be rewarded with views of Rising Wolf Mountain and Two Medicine Lake.
Continuing on after 0.8 km, you will come across several small beaver ponds, which is a great area to spot some moose. When you reach 1.8 km, you will have to cross over Aster Creek and at the junction, proceed straight. 3.7 km into the hike will take you to a suspension footbridge that is over Paradise Creek. At the junction, after hiking for 3.7 km, turn left down the Two Medicine Pass Trail. Once you reach 5.6 km, you will see the beautiful Rockwell Falls. After taking in these sights, head back the way you came as this is an out and back trail.
