Route Description for Two Medicine Lake South Shore Trail
Explore Two Medicine Lake South Shore Trail and surround yourself with the stunning views that make up this part of Glacier National Park. The trail begins at the boat launch at Two Medicine Lake and opens up into a lush green forest. You will continue hiking through the forest and go through spurts of meadows filled with wildflowers, depending on the season. You begin to ascend as you climb up Sinopah Mountain, where views of the beautiful lake below are showcased.
Continuing, you work your way towards Upper Two Medicine Lake and pass through avalanche chutes along the way. After reaching Upper Two Medicine Lake, take the same route you came in on to return to the trailhead as this is an out-and-back trail.

Getting to the Two Medicine Lake South Shore Trail Trailhead
To get to Two Medicine Lake South Shore Trail from East Glacier Park Village, head West on Midvale Street toward MT-49 North and turn right. Turn left onto Two Medicine Road and after 11.6 km, take your first left and then first right and arrive at your destination.
