Route Description for Hidden Valley Hike
Hidden Valley is more commonly known in the rock climbing community, yet it is an excellent hike. If you have spent your time in Jasper tackling some of the larger and more strenuous hikes, this is an excellent add-on. It is short and sweet with fun features and great views.
The trail heads into a canyon towards nearby Syncline Ridge. You’ll begin to see rock climbing routes and colourful climbers scattered along the wall as you hike along the trail. Continue up the canyon and through some smaller gullies that feature a ladder and bolted chain feature installed by the climbing community. Follow the trail and find incredible views of Roche Miette come into view from a small pass before making your way to the ridge.
