Route Description for Black Combe Circular Walk
Walking the Black Combe Circular may be a bit of a challenging adventure, but the route’s breathtaking views that sweep across the dark waters of the Irish Sea and the rugged terrain of the Lake District make it a popular destination for many walkers. Setting out from the car park, the trail initially follows the road into the village of Whicham before climbing up the steep terrain of the hillside along Moorgill Beck. Reaching the summit of Black Combe, you will be able to gaze out in every direction at the stunning landscapes surrounding you - provided that the weather cooperates.
