Route Description for Glen Alpine Springs Resort Trail
Let the fresh mountain air fill your lungs and stretch your legs along the Glen Alpine Springs Resort Trail. This wonderful adventure warrants wonderful views, including sights of the encompassing mountains, the springs, Lily Lake, and the historic resort. Be sure to pack plenty of water and wear sun protection as much of the route is exposed! This route is sure to please adventure enthusiasts and history buffs alike! Embark on your excursion along the Glen Alpine Springs Resort Trail from the trailhead at Lily Lake. From here, the Glen Alpine Springs Resort Hike follows the road west, past Lily Lake and through the meadowlands. Enjoy the views, and the path will soon near Glen Alpine Creek. Soon the path will pass Modjeska Falls before reaching the historic resort. Explore the resort and the historic buildings that decorate the grounds.
