Route Description for Eagle Lake Recreational Trail
The Eagle Lake Recreational Trail is a popular route for bikers, so care should be taken when hiking along it. Ensure that you are staying to one side of the trail so as to leave space for passing bikers. Likewise, in the springtime especially, the mosquitoes along the route can become numerous, so we recommend bringing bug repellent with you.

Having arrived at the trailhead, follow the Eagle Lake Recreational Trail as it makes its way west along the southern shoreline of Eagle Lake. The route continues on along the shoreline for the majority of its extent - veering off only as it reaches Christe Campground. Navigating the route is incredibly straightforward. Simply follow along the well marked trail as it makes its way west until Criste Campground. Once there, backtrack your steps towards Merrill Campground and your waiting vehicle.
