Immerse in a scenic woodland setting while also meandering through paths stretching into open, exposed areas on the Frogham to Fritham Walk. This walk is all about stunning moody, mysterious views that almost feel fairytale-like, especially when you spot horses and pigs roaming the landscape! This is an out-and-back route, which means you’ll get a chance to enjoy the same scenery twice. While this walk is long, the low elevation gain makes it a fun one for all ages who can handle the 12.4 km distance.

Route Description for Frogham to Fritham Walk
The Frogham to Fritham Walk is a fantastic year-round adventure! Setting out from the car park, you'll head straight to follow along Hampton Ridge. Continue walking, primarily through fields at this point, toward Linear Target. When you reach this intersection of paths, cross the Linear Target and take the right track at the Y-intersection. Although the trail eventually merges with the path on the left! After the merge, continue straight to immerse in a lovely forest setting. When you reach the Royal Oak, turn around and head back the way you came. Keep an eye out for horses and pigs while you walk!
Getting to the Frogham to Fritham Walk Trailhead
To get to the start of the Frogham to Fritham Walk, head to Hyde, Fordingbridge, and follow Abbots Well Road toward Frogham Car Park.
