Route Description for River Burn Walk
The River Burn Walk takes you on a beautiful stroll along the river that provides ample opportunity to stop for a swim or to enjoy the view. Beginning from the car park, you will follow the path along the river’s edge and you will see Rover Burn as well as River Ure. There are some small, short paths that you can detour on to get down to the river bank. Continuing on, you will walk through some farmers fields, and you may spot a horse or two along the way. Continue to follow the path, and you will arrive back where you began, as this is a circuit walk.
Getting to the River Burn Walk Trailhead
To get to the River Burn Walk from Ripon, drive along A6108 and Fearby Road for 21.6 km before turning right. In 0.5 km, you will arrive at your destination.
