Route Description for Coalisland Canal Walk
If you enjoy taking relaxing strolls along the water’s edge, then you will be sure to love the Coalisland Canal Walk. This meandering trail will see you head out into the countryside along a winding canal, allowing you to disconnect from everyday life and relax in the outdoors.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way to the southeast in order to meet up with the edge of the canal. From here, you will continue on to the southeast, following the edge of the water as it snakes through the town of Coalisland and eventually leaves it behind.
After making your way through the picturesque farmland, you will arrive at the end point of the walk at Reenaderry Road. At this point, you can simply turn back and retrace your steps on a return to the trailhead that will see you relive the same beautiful scenery as your outgoing journey.

The trailhead for the Coalisland Canal Walk can be found at the point where B520 meets Lineside in Coalisland.
