Whether you are wanting to explore the landscape of the Antrim Coast or simply need a break from driving through the area, the Cushendun Bay Circular Walk is a great option to get out onto the trail and stretch your legs while taking in some beautiful seaside views.
Setting out from the car park, you will make your way north along Cushendun Beach while taking in the beautifully scenic views of the sea. After meeting up the road, head to the west and follow Bay Road as it skirts around a caravan site, after which you will find a footpath on the left. Following this south along the treeline, you will eventually arrive at the banks of the Glendun River. Head left and follow the path back towards the beach to enjoy some final seaside views on the way into the trailhead.
