Diamond Jubilee Wood Walk

The Diamond Jubilee Wood Walk is a short adventure in County Antrim that will lead you on a loop through the forest. While out walking the trail, you will meander along wooded paths that serve to commemorate the 60 year reign of Queen Elizabeth II that was celebrated in 2012. This is a lovely excursion with well-maintained paths that is suitable for all.

Route Description for Diamond Jubilee Wood Walk
While it doesn’t feature anything in the way of challenging terrain, the Jubilee Wood Walk is a wonderful route that will allow you to relax in a peaceful woodland setting.
From the trailhead, you will make your way to the northeast along a winding path that will bring you to the loop portion of the route. Here, you will keep right and pass through a scenic stretch of woodlands commemorating the Queen’s 60th year on the throne. The trail will loop around the wood and bring you back to the starting point of your walk.

The trailhead for the Diamond Jubilee Wood Walk can be found along Larne Road/A2, just northwest of Whitehead.
