Route Description for Fern Canyon Trail
Fern Canyon Trail is one of Palm Springs’ secret gems, thanks to unreal panoramic views and a trail flanked by cacti, which leads you to a haven of greenery, most notably palms and ferns! You’ll reach a moderate incline along the way, but it’s not too intense. After exploring the canyon adorned with palms and ferns, you can continue along the wash towards other paths looping back. Or, stick to the route outlined here, turn around, and head back the way you came after the canyon.
Remember to bring water, a hat, and sunscreen on this hike. It’s best to hit the trail early in the morning if you’re going in the summer!
