Route Description for Edale Rocky Ridges Walk
The Edale Rocky Ridges Walk is an exciting adventure through the Edale Valley that is popular due to the fact that you will climb uphill to several elevated viewpoints for amazing views overlooking the Peak District. The trail begins in the village of Edale and heads northwest along the River Noe to climb uphill to the summit of Kinder Low. From here, you will traverse the ridgeline to the east, visiting Upper Tor and Nether Tor while enjoying sweeping views across the hilly landscape. From here, you will make your descent of the hillside and meet up with Grinds Brook, following it back to the village where you began.

Getting to the Edale Rocky Ridges Walk Trailhead
To get to the Edale and Grindsbrook Circular car park from Hope Valley, make your way west for 2.4mi along Hathersage Road and turn right onto Edale Road. Continue on for 4.7mi to find the car park on your right.Route Information
