Bluff Mesa Hike

The Bluff Mesa Hike is a fantastic adventure in Southern California that features a lovely woodland setting and can be enjoyed by the entire family. While out hiking the trail, you will follow a forest service road for a short distance, before looping around the mesa to explore the forest. Make sure to display an adventure pass prior to setting out on your journey.

Route Description for Bluff Mesa Hike
Whether you are camping in the area or are only after a short day-hike, the Bluff Mesa Hike is a great option, especially if you are travelling with young children.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will follow the Forest Service Road 2N86 to the west and keep right at the junction towards Kidd Creek. Here, you will keep left and make your way through the beautiful forest on a loop around the mesa that will eventually bring you back to the road.
Continue on to the east to return to the trailhead, or make a quick detour to visit Bluff Lake to the south.
Getting to the Bluff Mesa Hike Trailhead
The trailhead for the Bluff Mesa Hike can be found near the Bluff Lake Reserve, at the junction between Forest Service Road 2N86 and Mill Creek Road.
