Route Description for Mushroom/Hawkshead Ruins Hike
With archaeological sites lining a challenging route, the Mushroom/Hawkshead Ruins hike is a special trek. From the Boynton Canyon Trailhead, take Boynton Canyon Trail up past the resort and into the canyon. Where the trail splits, begin climbing up to the ruins. You’ll be scrambling your way up, so look for the path of least resistance. Hang in there until the end, where the view is magical. From here, retrace your steps.
