Route Description for Grotto Falls Trail
Whether you are driving through the area and want to stretch your legs, or are after a quick and easy adventure that the kids will enjoy, the Grotto Falls Trail is a great route in Umpqua National Forest that has amazing views.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way to the northeast along a path that winds through the magical atmosphere of the temperate rainforest. Very quickly, you will arrive at the beautiful site of Grotto Falls, a 100ft waterfall that cascades in front of a cavern.
After taking in the views and exploring the area, simply head back along the same trail to return to your vehicle.
Getting to the Grotto Falls Trail Trailhead
The trailhead for this hike can be found along NF-150 at the point where it crosses Emile Creek.
