Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way to the northeast, steadily gaining elevation as you hike past towering trees to reach the caves. After a bit of rugged climbing, you can explore the caves and gaze out across the beautifully scenic landscape of Umpqua National Forest. Once you have thoroughly explored the area, head back along the same route to return to the trailhead.

The starting point for this hike can be found along Forest Road 27 at the junction with Forest Road 663.
