Route Description for Mount David Hike

Mount David is a tough hike with very rewarding views. The trail is about as quiet as it gets, but that can result in uncleared blowdown and overgrowth, so bring a GPS track for reference if you can. The bugs can be a nuisance on this hike, so a potent spray is highly recommended.

Begin from the trailhead. You’ll cross the creek and then take a sharp left to follow it south. The trail begins to climb uphill and doesn’t stop until the summit. It’s quite steep and some sections lack swtichbacks, so take it slow if needed. Once you get atop the ridge, head to your right and traverse to the summit. Soak up the views before retracing your steps to the trailhead.
