While not technically a hiking route, the Downtown Dubois Walk is a great adventure. Many people visiting the Winds or Grand Tetons overlook the charming townships that sit below the mountains, and we’d like to change that! Dubois, Wyoming is a charming old Western town worth your exploration!

Route Description for Downtown Dubois Walk
The Downtown Dubois Walk explores the main street in the old western town. Travel back in time and pretend you're a cowboy as you wander past the rustic buildings and homesteads. On a clear day, you will be granted wonderful views of the snow-capped Winds framing the lovely township. Note this path is exposed, so check the forecast and dress accordingly. While there are no ‘signposts’ this route is easy to navigate!
Setting out from the corner of Lander Ave and W Ramshorn Street, you will begin your walk along the sidewalk. Passing Blue Coyote Coffee and Twin Pines Lodge and Cabin, the path will soon cross over Horse Creek. Enjoy the scenery and the rustic ambiance as you wander. When you reach the Perch Coffee House, cross the street and begin your walk back towards Lander Ave.
Passing the General Store, you will soon reach Lander Ave. Cross the street and head back to your vehicle.
Getting to the Downtown Dubois Walk Trailhead
Your adventure begins from the corner of Lander Ave on W Ramshorn Street.
