Day 1 Begin your Journey from Cheltenham to Bourton-on-the-Water

Your tour will begin in Cheltenham, where you’ll be picked up and transferred to the start of your walk.

You can choose between two points of interest to start your walk today. The Chedworth Roman Villa is a beautiful exposed Roman villa, and Northleach is a charming market town featuring a 15th-century church. You’ll walk along the Monarch’s way through the rolling countryside and little villages to Bourton. This is the most famous village in the area, and it is full of museums, shops, and even an outdoor maze.

Enjoy the evening here, perhaps finding a cozy pub for dinner.

Day 2 Visit Lower and Upper Slaughter to Stow-on-the-Wold

As you continue on, you’ll visit the charming country villages of Lower and Upper Swell and make your way to Stow-on-the-Wold. Learn about the ancient agricultural history of the market square before you stop for dinner and settle in for the evening.

You’ll eventually arrive in Moreton-in-Marsh to explore its historic, picture-perfect main street.

Day 4 Explore Blockley and Batsford

Walk on to Batsford, which is home to a beautiful Asian-inspired Arboretum. You can also visit the Falconry Centre and the 14th-century barn at Bourton on the Hill. This stop will certainly give you the quintessential Cotswold experience.
