Dive into the world-class skiing of Kicking Horse and Revelstoke on this guided tour
You will explore the world-class skiing at both Revelstoke and Kicking Horse Mountain on this 6-day guided skiing tour. Your expert local guide will show you some of the best skiing that North America has to offer as you lose yourself in the spectacular beauty of the Rocky Mountain ski scene.
You will spend the first part of your ski tour exploring the slopes at Revelstoke, with the highest vertical drop in North America and the most dependable snow on the continent.
Afterwards you will explore the vast skiing terrain at Kicking Horse Mountain, home to over 120 runs which span over 3 spectacular mountain ridges.
By day you will push your skiing to a whole new level on the breathtaking slopes of the Canadian Rockies and by night you will relax in natural hot springs and enjoy the buzzing nightlife of the friendly mountain towns of British Columbia. Your local guide will always be on hand to give you all the tips, support and assistance to make the most of this once in a lifetime ski vacation.
You will get picked up from a Kelowna hotel by your friendly guide and head north to the wonderful mountain town of Revelstoke. Your scenic drive will take you through the 3 Valley Gap, a beautiful driving route that is dotted by high cliffs and craggy peaks. After checking into your hotel, you can hit the town with your small and welcoming group for a hearty meal.
The adventure begins! Today you will ski on the world-famous slopes of Revelstoke mountain, home to the highest vertical drop in North America and endless chutes, tree runs and headwalls to be explored. You can carve the slopes of ‘’The Last Spike’’ for a scenic view of Begbie Glacier or take a gentle descend down the broad and gentle runs of ‘’Sunshine’’ or ‘’Greenhorn’’. After tiring yourself out on the slopes you will take a short ferry trip to the lakeside hot springs where you can soak away the aches and pains of the day.
You will continue to explore the spectacular mountain slopes of Revelstoke, with options to take a challenging backcountry to descend from Mackenzie Peak or keep it simple and build up your experience on the more accessible slopes. Beginner or expert, there is something for everyone at this world-class skiing location in the Kootenay Rockies. After a brilliant day on the powder, you will be glad of another hearty meal to get your strength up for another day on the slopes.
It is time to chase the next adventure, so you will leave Revelstoke Mountain behind and head on to the powder slopes of Kicking Horse. After a scenic drive through Rogers Pass, you will head straight onto the Gondola at Kicking Horse to maximise your time hurtling down the steep tree runs or checking out the awesome chutes. There is a wide range of terrain to be enjoyed, from bottom to top runs to easy-going scenic slopes. Crack open a cold beer in a mountain bar and watch the fearless locals fly through the hair-raising chutes with ease.
You will enjoy a second hair day chasing powder on the slopes of Kicking Horse, home to exhilaratingly steep runs but easily accessible thanks to the brilliant network of chair lifts and gondolas. Kicking Horse ski resort encompasses three different mountain ridges, each of which leads to a vast playground of fresh powder and thrilling tree runs. Push yourself to the limit on the steep and narrow black runs or take it easy with some gentle slopes and a cold beer at the mountain top lodge. Enjoy one final dinner in the British Columbia ski territory tonight, soaking up the buzzing vibes and sharing stories with your lovely group.
Your epic 6-day skiing adventure has come to an end, but you still have time to sneak in a delightful soak in the Lussier Hot Springs. You can enjoy a bit of a lie in today, resting your tired body after a spectacular immersion in the slopes of the Rocky Mountains. You will head south through the Valley of a Thousand Peaks, stopping off to enjoy the thermal springs at White Swan river before getting dropped off at either Cranbrook International Airport or the mountain town of Nelson, depending on your travel plans.

I’ve been using 10Adventures route guides for a while, but had never booked a tour. My wife and I booked a self-guided hike in Greece and were so impressed with how we were able navigate the route without a guide with the detailed and easy to follow itinerary. We enjoy travelling independently, and 10Adventures made that happen.

I’ve adventured around a lot of Canada and the US, but I’ve always wanted to explore other parts of the world. I felt a bit scared before booking my trip to Israel, but my conversations with the team at 10Adventures helped ease any worry. I can’t wait to explore more of the world!

Travel companies have had to go through a lot during the pandemic but 10Adventures were super flexible and accommodating nonetheless. I had to cancel my tour in France due to the pandemic. 10Adventures was great and let me reschedule for a later date!

Communicating with 10Adventures feels like talking with a family-run business. I love to explore and travel, and exploring with the comfort of knowing I can talk to the team at 10Adventures with almost immediate feedback helps to ease any stress that comes with adventuring!

Whenever I’m looking for my next adventure 10Adventures never fails. Their routes all over England are my main go to for exploring and I have only had great experiences booking both guided and self-guided trips in Europe and South America with them. I am looking into Africa next.

I just got back from backpacking in the Sierra Nevada, and WOW. What an unreal journey! The alpine meadows, waterfalls, and the lakeside camping spot were memorable highlights! I wonder what other tours 10Adventures has to offer. That one went so well that I am now convinced I need to book another!

I'm not a big fan of traveling because of my fear of flying, but my girlfriend convinced me to go on the Aurora Borealis Tour in the Yukon. I will never forget the mesmerizing northern lights. Such a romantic (and cold) getaway. I would highly recommend it.
