Happiness Promise
There are hundreds of thousands of guides and tour operators around the world. Figuring out who to trust is stressful and hard.
That’s why we started 10Adventures Tours, we’re here to make it easy to find a great guide or tour operator. We handpick the best local guides and tour operators for 10Adventures, working to ensure you have great guides and a great trip.
We know it sucks to show up in a different country and find out the tents are junk, the guide incompetent or the route different from what we thought we were getting.
We want to give our users peace of mind that you’ll have a great trip and offer a guarantee that we will work with you to make it right.
How does this work?
Well, if you feel that something about your trip didn’t’ meet your expectations, let us know. We will then work to gather the details and figure out where things went wrong. If something indeed wasn’t as described, or went wrong with your trip, and the problem was within the control of either oursleves, the guide or the tour company, we will then work out a refund with you that’s proportional to the scale of the problem.
Obviously the best way to make a great trip is to tell your local guide or tour operator and give them the chance to fix the solution while you are on your trip. Most things can be solved by telling your guide when the issue develops. If that doesn’t solve it, then email us right away. Please don’t wait to voice your concerns until the trip is over, as it’s much harder to solve issues after the fact.
We work hard to make sure you have a great trip. If something isn’t right, please email hello@10adventures.co and we will get to work right away.

Pedal around a gorgeous Greek island at your own pace
Take the first step towards a private travel experience, customized just for you.
About this tour:
Off the western coast of Greece in the Ionian Sea sits Cephalonia, a small island comprised of typical Greek villages and stunning rocky coastlines awaits. Spend the magical 8 days of the Explore Cephalonia Island by Bike Tour pedalling around to idyllic spots on your own time, each one more majestic than the last. You’ll never tire of crystal waters, quaint villages, and coastal roads with the sea breeze on your skin.
Not only will you bike your way around this gorgeous island, but you’ll also have the chance to take a boat ride on a lake, visit a vineyard, see religious edifices, and relax on any beach you choose. With premium accommodation picked out for you, you can focus your energy on the experience and not the details. And, hey, you’re in Greece! Your fuel for your self-guided biking adventure will be world-class Greek fare. Talk about paradise!
Make your way to the gorgeous island of Cephalonia and await your transfer at the airport or bus station to be taken to Mousata. Here, you’ll meet with your guide to sort out your bike for the next week.
There’s no set itinerary for today, so feel free to relax or take your bike out for a test run around the hotel. Find yourself some flavourful snacks, which shouldn’t be hard since you’re in Greece now!
Wake up and enjoy bed and breakfast service at your hotel before heading out for a half-day cycling excursion. Hop on your bike and head for the hills as you ascend to Argostoli, Cephalonia’s capital. On the way, you’ll pedal through typical Greek villages like Keramies, Metaxata, and Kourkoumetata. Practice your Greek as you ride through and wave to locals.
Reach Argostoli for a well-earned break on a seaside terrace, then continue along a ridge towards the south coast. You’ll ride along a dirt road, stop for a visit at the Monastery Agiou Andrea if you wish, then return to Mousata for the night.
Enjoy a lovely breakfast, then it’s time to head out. You have two options, and both will take you to the eastern part of the island. Whichever route you choose, you’ll be rewarded with sweeping sea views as you ride to Skala, a quaint seaside resort. You can also visit Katelios, a small fishing village with a sea turtle info centre.
Pedal your way back to Mousata as the sun sets and get a good night’s sleep.
After breakfast, you will continue exploring the island and end in a new destination, Agis Efimia. Pedal past Myrtos Beach, an epic viewpoint, and keep going across the island through many charming villages, eventually descending to what will seem like a paradise with few houses hugging the rocky shores. Settle into your hotel and go for a dip in the crystal clear water.
Today will be full of adventure as you cycle to Sami and back. Start the excursion with a ride to Melissani Lake, where you can hop in a small kaiki (boat) for a quick paddle.
Continue on your bike through olive groves and vineyards—the quintessential Mediterranean landscapes you’ve been dreaming of. Stop in your choice of local villages for a coffee, then keep pedalling to the Drogarati Caves before hitting Sami and turning around. If you feel like it, pause and Andisamos Beach before returning to Agia Efimia.
You have two options for today, and one will certainly be more challenging if you’re up for it. You’ll cycle to the northernmost village of Fiscardo, passing stunning sites along the way. Ride along a coastal road, admiring the magnificent, almost unbelievable views of the Ionian Sea. Make a loop around the island through many villages and return to Agia Efimia.
On your final full day of this tour, you’re in for a treat! It’s a demanding day, but it will be worth it. First, you’ll ascend to Mt. Aenos, from where you’ll get breathtaking views of villages you’ve visited in days past. Pedal through a crucial area for Robola wine, a white wine originating in this region. Feel free to stop and have a glass!
After your stop at the winery, visit the nearby cathedral and monastery, then descend towards Argostoli for your last night.
In the morning, you have some time to explore Argostoli, visit the museum, or have a coffee in the main square. You’ll get a ride to the airport to check-in for your flight.
Relax with a glass (or three) of wine in the exquisite Robola vineyards after your daily rides.
Visit famous filming locations featured in the film Captain Corelli’s Mandolin.
Cycle along rocky coastlines through olive groves and vineyards, letting your Greek island dreams come true.
Ascend Mt. Aenos for spectacular views of Cephalonia and the Ionian Sea.
4 breakfasts are included.
Accommodation for 7 nights is included. You can book extra nights to extend your stay at any of the hotels along the route.
