This family-focused Croatian adventure tour will make memories that will last a lifetime. You and your family will enjoy a week filled with adventure for the whole family. With guided tours throughout the week, you’ll get to hike, bike, raft, zipline, kayak, and sail in the stunning Adriatic Sea. Admire and absorb the culture of Dalmatia, Istra, and central Croatia. There’s a new way to get your blood pumping each day!
Croatia appeals to any type of adventurer. The country boasts medieval cities, a pleasant climate year-round, delicious food, eight national parks, and an archipelago in the Adriatic Sea renowned as an idyllic spot for a sailing vacation. There’s no shortage of trails to hike, roads to bike, or islands to sail or kayak between. And on this tour, you get to participate in a new adventure each day that will help your knowledge of Croatia evolve into a beautiful mosaic that mirrors the country itself.
Discover the cultural and natural diversity in this coastal Balkan country as you journey through it on this multisport tour with your family!
Welcome to Croatia! Meet your driver at the airport and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel in Split. If you arrive a bit early, use your free time to wander through Old Town Split, which blends medieval architecture with modern fashion. You’ll walk through narrow alleys, finding UNESCO World Heritage Sites like St. Dominius’s Cathedral and the Piazza, then turn the corner, and you’re in front of a European designer boutique. Find this same blend of old and new in Split’s galleries, restaurants, and bars. Spend the night in your hotel in the historical centre.
Today’s hike will be the first of many adventures on this multisport tour. Your group will depart from the hotel in the morning and head out for some waterfall-hunting in Krka National Park, named for the 72.5 km river running through it. This pristine park is home to seven waterfalls, one of which is called Skradinski Buk—the central point of today’s hike. Keep your cameras out for shots of this fairy-tale landscape! After Krka National Park, your group checks out the nearby town Šibenik with its stunning UNESCO-protected Cathedral of St. James in the town square.
Pack your adventure clothes for today because you’re going rafting and ziplining! Don’t worry if you don’t have rafting experience—you don’t need it—but make sure you’re a confident swimmer. The rafting tour is suitable for all ages. After breakfast in Split, you’ll be transferred to meet your guides at the base of the Cetina River near Omis. After the rafting portion, you’ll swing, fly, zipline over the river you just rafted on! It’s recommended to pack: running shoes, activewear, dry footwear, dry clothing, a day pack, and drinking water.
Travel from Split to Hvar in style on your private chartered yacht. Instead of taking the passenger ferry, you’ll spend a relaxing day on the Adriatic Sea, stopping along the way to jump in for a swim and enjoy an optional lunch. As you cruise around, you’ll be amazed by the enchanting sea and island views. Once in Hvar, take advantage of some free time and meander about the stone walls and red-tile roofs, noting hints of history everywhere you pass. Settle into your hotel near the port in Hvar.
Get out on the calm, clear waters surrounding the Pakleni Islands, a string of beautifully lush islands with paradise beaches, on today’s adventure. Your guides will brief you on kayak safety and provide you with all the necessary equipment for a safe and enjoyable journey. Then hop in and follow your guide across the channel and split the day up between paddling, swimming, snorkeling, and enjoying a light meal on one of the secluded beach stops. Return leisurely to Hvar for free time in the afternoon and evening. Hvar town connects narrow alleys with plenty of boutiques, restaurants, and attractions to keep you busy.
The last full day of this guided multisport tour gets your legs moving again after yesterday’s break in the kayaks—get ready to ride! Starting in Stari Grad, your guides will offer several options for biking routes depending on your fitness level and preferences. All routes will pass by a handful of local villages dotting the island and a lunch break at a traditional Dalmatian taverna. After lunch, keep riding towards Jesla, a charming town where you’ll stop for a chocolate tasting in a family-run boutique. Complete today’s tour by visiting a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hora (also known as Ager), a significant agricultural piece of land from the Ancient Greek period. Head back to Hvar for your last night on the island. Head back to Hvar for your last night on the island.
Sadly, your family multisport adventure tour has come to an end. Take the 1-hour passenger ferry from Hvar to Split, then receive transportation to the airport in time for your flight.

I’ve been using 10Adventures route guides for a while, but had never booked a tour. My wife and I booked a self-guided hike in Greece and were so impressed with how we were able navigate the route without a guide with the detailed and easy to follow itinerary. We enjoy travelling independently, and 10Adventures made that happen.

I’ve adventured around a lot of Canada and the US, but I’ve always wanted to explore other parts of the world. I felt a bit scared before booking my trip to Israel, but my conversations with the team at 10Adventures helped ease any worry. I can’t wait to explore more of the world!

Travel companies have had to go through a lot during the pandemic but 10Adventures were super flexible and accommodating nonetheless. I had to cancel my tour in France due to the pandemic. 10Adventures was great and let me reschedule for a later date!

My wife Sarah and I had a great experience booking our 7-day cycling trip through Portugal via 10Adventures. The communication between us and Nadine leading up the trip was top-notch!

Communicating with 10Adventures feels like talking with a family-run business. I love to explore and travel, and exploring with the comfort of knowing I can talk to the team at 10Adventures with almost immediate feedback helps to ease any stress that comes with adventuring!

Whenever I’m looking for my next adventure 10Adventures never fails. Their routes all over England are my main go to for exploring and I have only had great experiences booking both guided and self-guided trips in Europe and South America with them. I am looking into Africa next.

I just got back from backpacking in the Sierra Nevada, and WOW. What an unreal journey! The alpine meadows, waterfalls, and the lakeside camping spot were memorable highlights! I wonder what other tours 10Adventures has to offer. That one went so well that I am now convinced I need to book another!

I'm not a big fan of traveling because of my fear of flying, but my girlfriend convinced me to go on the Aurora Borealis Tour in the Yukon. I will never forget the mesmerizing northern lights. Such a romantic (and cold) getaway. I would highly recommend it.
