See Menorca from south to north by bike
Menorca is an absolute paradise, and this little island is the star of the show on the Menorca by Bike tour. Pedalling across the island from one end to the other, you won’t miss a second of the action or an inch of the unbelievable scenery!
Bike under the warm Spanish sun to waters so brightly turquoise it’s hard to believe, taking breaks to dip into the sea or rest on the warm white sand whenever you please. You’ll ride across the interior of the island, crossing through shaded forests, across otherworldly rock formations, and to jagged cliffs overlooking the sea. Spend evenings in sleepy villages, thriving city centres, and everything in between. To really acquaint yourself with Menorica’s beauty and history, the Menorca by Bike tour is a must!
Get ready to begin your bike adventure tomorrow with an information session held by tour representatives. You’ll get your GPS, maps, guidebooks, and any other information you need for your tour. You’ll also be fitted for a rental bike.
Once you’re all set, enjoy a walk around the pretty city of Mahón, perhaps seeking out some dessert or a glass of wine.
Ready to hit the road? Begin your ride through Menorca with a quick trail to the fortress of La Mola and Mahón port. You’ll then head to the city centre, the perfect stop for tapas. After lunch, head to Cales Cove, where caves are dug right into the rock of the shore. Nearby is a stunning beach where you can stop for a swim.
Finally, you’ll arrive in Alaior, smack in the middle of Menorca. You'll be staying in a traditional Menorquin rural guesthouse tonight.
Following breakfast, head out on a loop trail that’ll feel straight off of another planet. You’ll ride over the northern side of the island, crossing through holm oak forests and lunar-like rock formations. Once at Cap de Favàritx, snap some photos of the lighthouse and dramatic coastline.
Complete your loop by arriving back at your guesthouse.
After breakfast, hop aboard and ride to the Cap de Cavalleria lighthouse, perched upon an impressive cliff. Talk about starting the day on a high note! The beach near the lighthouse is splendid, and you’ve got time for a dip if you’re keen.
Next, You’ll ride to the dunes and lagoons of Binimel là Beach, another fantastic spot to get your feet wet or soak up a bit of sun. You’ll finish the ride in Port Fornells.
Begin today by following the Royal Path (Cami Reial) to cross Menorca from north to south. Crossing Es Mercadal and Es Migjorn Gran, you’ll find yourself at Santo Tomas Beach. You know what that means- time for a swim!
Once you’re dried off, head to Cala Galdana, a large bay with lofty cliffs peppered with luxurious resorts and houses. The beach here is too good to be true, so spend as much time this evening enjoying it as you can.
Imagine the most pristine, vibrant turquoise ocean you’ve ever seen. Today might just top that. You’ll be riding along the southern beaches of Menorca, which flank some of the finest water in the region. Stop in at coves along the shore or ditch your bike at remote beaches.
Although leaving the impeccable white sand and blue water might be tough, you’ll need to make it to Ciutadella tonight. This city is an absolute gem, with creamy golden-hued palaces, gargoyles, cathedrals, and medieval buildings lining the streets. With plenty of high-end shopping and restaurants on offer, you won’t struggle to fill your evening here.
Today takes you to the most untamed corners of Menorca. You’ll bike to the Falconera hillside, where 200+ metre cliffs line the sea. Gorgers, lakes, and forests make this area a treat to explore. Stop into Cala Morell, a natural harbour where a fascinating necropolis lies. Fourteen caves have been excavated to give you a peek into these prehistoric burial sites that date back to 1700 B.C.
Enjoy dinner and an evening at your leisure back in Ciutadella.
After one of the most incredible weeks imaginable on Menorca, it’s time to wrap up. You will be taken to the airport to depart.

I’ve been using 10Adventures route guides for a while, but had never booked a tour. My wife and I booked a self-guided hike in Greece and were so impressed with how we were able navigate the route without a guide with the detailed and easy to follow itinerary. We enjoy travelling independently, and 10Adventures made that happen.

I’ve adventured around a lot of Canada and the US, but I’ve always wanted to explore other parts of the world. I felt a bit scared before booking my trip to Israel, but my conversations with the team at 10Adventures helped ease any worry. I can’t wait to explore more of the world!

Travel companies have had to go through a lot during the pandemic but 10Adventures were super flexible and accommodating nonetheless. I had to cancel my tour in France due to the pandemic. 10Adventures was great and let me reschedule for a later date!

My wife Sarah and I had a great experience booking our 7-day cycling trip through Portugal via 10Adventures. The communication between us and Nadine leading up the trip was top-notch!

Communicating with 10Adventures feels like talking with a family-run business. I love to explore and travel, and exploring with the comfort of knowing I can talk to the team at 10Adventures with almost immediate feedback helps to ease any stress that comes with adventuring!

Whenever I’m looking for my next adventure 10Adventures never fails. Their routes all over England are my main go to for exploring and I have only had great experiences booking both guided and self-guided trips in Europe and South America with them. I am looking into Africa next.

I just got back from backpacking in the Sierra Nevada, and WOW. What an unreal journey! The alpine meadows, waterfalls, and the lakeside camping spot were memorable highlights! I wonder what other tours 10Adventures has to offer. That one went so well that I am now convinced I need to book another!

I'm not a big fan of traveling because of my fear of flying, but my girlfriend convinced me to go on the Aurora Borealis Tour in the Yukon. I will never forget the mesmerizing northern lights. Such a romantic (and cold) getaway. I would highly recommend it.
