Day 1 Arrive in Alta Pusteria

Use today as your travel day, taking some time to get your bike prepared for your adventure ahead.

Day 2 Cycling to Chiusa

Begin your ride along the River Rienz, which you follow until you begin your ascent over the Furkelpass. You’ll ride through valleys, plateaus, and a lovely mountain village. You’ll want to stop and visit the ruins of Mühlbacher Klause and the ancient town of Bressanone before you finish your ride in Chiusa.

Day 3 Ride into Wine Country

Cycle across the Renon Plateau and past the rock formations known as the earth pyramids. You’ll notice that you’ll begin hearing less German and more Italian as you ride towards Bolzano. Stop to visit “Lauben” and the fruit market in Bolzano before you continue down South Tyrol’s wine road.

Tonight your ride finishes in historic Trento.

Day 4 Cycle to Lake Caldonazzo

Your ride will begin with a long ascent, but you can reward yourself with a long break at Lake Caldonazzo. You’ll cycle through Valsugana and arrive in Feltre, which was once part of a Roman military route.

Day 5 Ride Up Passo San Boldo

Today you’ll be riding through Cesiomaggiore, which is known as “the village of cycling.” You’ll ride up the alpine Passo San Boldo and enjoy an exhilarating descent into the Prosecco region.

Day 6 Three Peaks Route

Begin your day with a detour around Lake Misurina to view the spectacular Drei Zinnen (Three Peaks). Next you’ll ride on to the Tre Croci Pass and into beautiful Cortina d’Ampezzo. From the former Olympic city you’ll cycle through the valley to your final stop on this tour in Dobbiaco.
