Explore the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento Peninsula on this adventure tour
The Amalfi Coast and Sorrento Peninsula is one of the most breathtaking parts of Italy. The Sorrento Peninsula Adventure tour takes you on foot and bike to the most incredible attractions in the area, getting you in touch with unforgettable oceans, mountains, and towns.
The Sorrento Peninsula Adventure tour leads you up Mount Faito, where you’ll enjoy views of the pastel-clad Amalfi Coast and Gulf of Salerno.
You’ll cruise on an electric bike from Sorrento to Termini, stopping at a local farm for snacks with a view of Capri and the ocean. Then the Sorrento Peninsula Adventure tour takes you through the deep Valley of Mills, where waterfalls and historic paper mills await.
Be whisked away to Capri, where you’ll walk the amazing Path of Fortini, ending up at the well-photographed Arco Naturale, or Natural Arch, framing the blue ocean beyond. The Sorrento Peninsula Adventure tour is a perfect way to get in touch with the beauty of the Sorrento Peninsula, so book today!
Welcome to Italy! You’ll be greeted at the airport and transferred from Naples to Sorrento. Take the evening to explore the town, grab dinner, and enjoy the ocean views.
You’ll be up bright and early to meet your guide for a trip to Monte Faito today. You’ll hike up to Monte Molare, passing beech wood and pine forests. The walk is wonderful, and you get a perfect bird-eye view of the colourful buildings of the Amalfi Coast and the Gulf of Salerno from up here. Enjoy it!
After breakfast today, you and your guide will hop on electric bikes to cruise the peninsula. You’ll leave from Sorrento and ride along the road of Marciano, which has incredible views of the ocean. Capri in the distance and the Gulf of Naples are definitely worth a few stops to appreciate! Then, stop off at the hamlet of Termini for some snacks at a local produce farm. Once you’re full, hop back on the bike and cruise back to Sorrento.
Day 4 of your peninsula tour begins with a guided tour of the Valley of Mills. You’ll begin in Ravello, walking across some of the most ancient sites of the Amalfi Coast. You’ll pass the site of Scala, which was once an important stronghold in the Republic of Amalfi. Continuing on through the Valley of Mills is full of waterfalls and lush vegetation. While you walk, you’ll learn about the paper milling operations here. At the end of the walk, enjoy a drink in stunning Amalfi.
Begin the day with a hydrofoil boat ride from Sorrento to Capri, and then a private transfer from Capri to Anacapri. Here, your guide will show you the best of Capri, from the clear blue ocean to the ancient sites. You’ll walk to the Natural Arch, a Paleolithic natural rock formation in the middle of a dense forest. The view behind it opens to the water, making it one of the most impressive and special sites on the island! Then, you’ll continue along the Path of Fortini, which runs parallel to the coastline from the Blue Grotto to the lighthouse of Punta Carena. The path is unreal, and each bay and inlet is sure to impress! Once you’ve had your fill, you’ll be transferred to Naples for the night.
A highlight of any trip to the region, Mount Vesuvius is the only active volcano in mainland Europe. When it erupted in 79 AD, it famously destroyed Pompeii. Hopefully it’s quiet today! You’ll take a walk up to a viewpoint of the entire Gulf of Naples. It’s truly like no other place in the world.
All too soon, it’s time to head home. After breakfast, you’ll be picked up and driven to the airport in Naples. Safe travels!

I’ve been using 10Adventures route guides for a while, but had never booked a tour. My wife and I booked a self-guided hike in Greece and were so impressed with how we were able navigate the route without a guide with the detailed and easy to follow itinerary. We enjoy travelling independently, and 10Adventures made that happen.

I’ve adventured around a lot of Canada and the US, but I’ve always wanted to explore other parts of the world. I felt a bit scared before booking my trip to Israel, but my conversations with the team at 10Adventures helped ease any worry. I can’t wait to explore more of the world!

Travel companies have had to go through a lot during the pandemic but 10Adventures were super flexible and accommodating nonetheless. I had to cancel my tour in France due to the pandemic. 10Adventures was great and let me reschedule for a later date!

Whenever I’m looking for my next adventure 10Adventures never fails. Their routes all over England are my main go to for exploring and I have only had great experiences booking both guided and self-guided trips in Europe and South America with them. I am looking into Africa next.

I just got back from backpacking in the Sierra Nevada, and WOW. What an unreal journey! The alpine meadows, waterfalls, and the lakeside camping spot were memorable highlights! I wonder what other tours 10Adventures has to offer. That one went so well that I am now convinced I need to book another!

I'm not a big fan of traveling because of my fear of flying, but my girlfriend convinced me to go on the Aurora Borealis Tour in the Yukon. I will never forget the mesmerizing northern lights. Such a romantic (and cold) getaway. I would highly recommend it.
