Day 1 Start Your Hike from Forno di Zoldo

Your adventure begins in Forno di Zoldo. As you leave the village you’ll start walking towards beautiful Val Pramper. The peak of Spiz de Mezzodi will be on the horizon as you follow the meanderings of the Prampèra stream towards the Malga Pramper Hut.

The amazing peaks of Castello di Moschesin and Cima Pramper will come into view in the afternoon, and then you’ll end your day of hiking at the Pramperét Mountain Hut. Relax over dinner while enjoying the fresh alpine air and the sunset over the Pelmo summit.

Day 2 Mountain Valleys and the Schiara Range

Today you’ll enjoy incredible views from the highest point of your hike as your trail reaches 2400m at Forcella de Zità Sud. You’ll be hiking with only the rocky peaks and chamois for company as you traverse the deep alpine valleys of Van di Zità.

After lunch at a mountain hut, you’ll hike towards the Schiara mountain range with the La Gusela peak rising ahead of you.

Day 3 Ancient Trails to Valle del Mis

As you walk into Monti del Sole, you’ll find yourself in the wildest and most remote area of the national park. You’ll be walking in the footsteps of the few mountaineers and hunters that know how to find the ancient path known as the Via degli Ospizi. You’ll come across an incredible monastery where some cloistered nuns still reside at Certosa di Vedana.

Tonight, your mountain hut will be in the beautiful Valle del Mis.

Day 4 Alpine Lakes and Waterfalls

Start your morning by following the shores of the peaceful alpine lake, Lago di Mis. As you follow the natural hollows formed by the lake, you’ll want to make the quick detour to see the spectacular Cascata della Soffia waterfall.

Your walk will take you onto some old mining roads and through abandoned settlements that are being reclaimed by nature since the mine’s closure in the sixties. Hike to a mountain farm where you’ll spend the night on the beautiful Piani Eterni plateau.

Day 5 Grassy Cliffs Over Feltre Valley

Today your path will lead you across narrow ledges that offer breathtaking views over the stunning Feltre Valley. Hike through the wild areas where mountain goats frolic under the majestic peak of Sass de Mura. You’ll have a great view of this famous peak, which is the home to many legendary rock climbing routes, as you approach tonight’s mountain hut.

Day 6 Mountain Valleys and Nature Reserve

As you experience the majestic scenery today, you’ll understand why it is the source of many legends. Amazing ridges and grass-covered cliffs give way to impressive glacial valleys.

Hike into the valleys, where you’ll walk through a protected nature reserve inhabited by herds of chamois and mouflon.

Day 7 Tour Concludes in Medieval Feltre

Today you’ll start your descent down a trail that follows a road made by the ancient Romans. Take in the beautiful vistas of the valley as you walk towards quiet settlements and pastureland.

As a reward for the end of your hike, you can stop in at the Pedavena Brewery, which has been in operation since 1896. You’ll also want to spend some time exploring the medieval town centre of Feltre, with its ancient castle and clock tower. Enjoy final views of the Vette Feltrine before you start your journey home.
