Welcome to Vietnam! After obtaining your visa and collecting your luggage, the guide will lead the way to your awaiting driver. You will be privately transferred to your accommodations. Stay right in the heart of the city next to the central Hoan Kiem lake. With the fascinating Old Quarter right at your fingertips, you can easily explore the city at your own pace.
Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel, then head out to the countryside located at the outskirts of Hanoi. Arriving at Mr. Duoc’s house, you will be welcomed with fresh honey tea and green lentils or lotus seeds that were made by his family. Imagine a Vietnam in the old time of war through stories of Mr. Duoc, who is not only a veteran who lived during those hard times but also a green tea expert. You will visit his tea plantation, which is one of the largest in Ri village, and join with locals in green tea processing. Afterward, have a Vietnamese cooking demonstration with another local host and then enjoy a home cooked lunch in a lovely garden. Head back to Hanoi to end the night.
This morning, you’ll head to Ninh Binh Province to get on a bike and visit local villages, temples and local markets nearby. Stopover in the Cau Vang Hamlet for farming activities in which you can catch crab, go fishing, or enjoy once in a lifetime experience transplanting rice, seeding, scooping water, and harvesting (depending on the season).
Enjoy lunchtime in a local ancient house. After that, take a visit to “Cat Scratch” mountain where you can see the world-red-book animal, Delacour's langurs. Later, you depart to Van Long Wharf to embark on a boat trip to Van Long Nature Reserve which is renowned as the largest wetland of Northern Vietnam.
A 90-minute rowboat ride will allow you to take in the picturesque landscapes of this diversified and unique ecological system and have a chance to see many types of animals living here. On the way, you can spot limestone mountains and stunning caves. The water here is so clear that you can look through to the moss on the bottom. After the boat trip, you’ll be transferred back to Hanoi.
Today you will discover the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay. Board a traditional Vietnamese junk boat and cruise into the bay. Admire the breathtaking scenery en route to Cua Van, one of the last remaining floating fishing villages in the bay. Take a closer look on a small bamboo boat.
You can rent a kayak, go for swims, meet the fishermen, and enjoy the bay all day long. Enjoy dinner aboard the boat and some downtime, or you can try squid fishing with the boat staff.
Rise early for a lesson in Tai Chi or just to enjoy a hearty breakfast. The boat will make its way back to the port stopping at the Limestone Cave, full of stalagmites and stalactites. From here, it’s clear sailing back to the main harbor and Hanoi. Fly to Hue this afternoon.
Today’s tour starts with your cyclo driver and guide picking you up at your hotel. Pass through the south of Huong River and tour around the new Hue city. You'll visit the Imperial Citadel where the former kings of Vietnam's last feudal dynasty ruled from 1802 to 1945, including Flag Tower, Nine Holy Cannons, Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Place, Nine Dynastic Urns, and more. You'll continue the cyclo tour to discover the rest of old Hue city. After this, your tour ends back at your hotel.
After picking you up from your hotel, the Jeep driver will drive along coastal roads passing towns, villages, and beaches, with numerous stops on the way to enjoy breathtaking scenery and experience the local life. The most fantastic place to take photos is at the top of Hai Van Pass where you will have the chance to pass through the clouds. Visit The Ghost City of An Bang. You may have lunch at a local restaurant by the sea or a picnic lunch with a nice view.
The day ends in Hoi An.
Today your guide will meet you at the hotel and take you for a cycling trip to the countryside and rivers around Hoi An. As you meander through the countryside you will experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you along the way. After that, you will board the Hoi An Eco-Tour boat for a river cruise to meet and engage with local fishermen. Enjoy a hands-on experience of traditional net fishing.
After that, you will take a paddle boat trip in a unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat down the waterways of a coconut palm paradise. Then have lunch, after which you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Have breakfast at the hotel and time to relax before boarding a flight from Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City’s center.
Have breakfast at your hotel then a Jeep driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and depart to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. Arrive at Cu Chi Tunnels and proceed to an underground hut to watch a short video and presentation about Cu Chi Tunnels, learn how Vietnam guerrilla ancient building, living and fighting in the tunnels before having a real hand-on experience of what it took to live in the tunnels.

I’ve been using 10Adventures route guides for a while, but had never booked a tour. My wife and I booked a self-guided hike in Greece and were so impressed with how we were able navigate the route without a guide with the detailed and easy to follow itinerary. We enjoy travelling independently, and 10Adventures made that happen.

I’ve adventured around a lot of Canada and the US, but I’ve always wanted to explore other parts of the world. I felt a bit scared before booking my trip to Israel, but my conversations with the team at 10Adventures helped ease any worry. I can’t wait to explore more of the world!

Travel companies have had to go through a lot during the pandemic but 10Adventures were super flexible and accommodating nonetheless. I had to cancel my tour in France due to the pandemic. 10Adventures was great and let me reschedule for a later date!

My wife Sarah and I had a great experience booking our 7-day cycling trip through Portugal via 10Adventures. The communication between us and Nadine leading up the trip was top-notch!

Communicating with 10Adventures feels like talking with a family-run business. I love to explore and travel, and exploring with the comfort of knowing I can talk to the team at 10Adventures with almost immediate feedback helps to ease any stress that comes with adventuring!

Whenever I’m looking for my next adventure 10Adventures never fails. Their routes all over England are my main go to for exploring and I have only had great experiences booking both guided and self-guided trips in Europe and South America with them. I am looking into Africa next.

I just got back from backpacking in the Sierra Nevada, and WOW. What an unreal journey! The alpine meadows, waterfalls, and the lakeside camping spot were memorable highlights! I wonder what other tours 10Adventures has to offer. That one went so well that I am now convinced I need to book another!

I'm not a big fan of traveling because of my fear of flying, but my girlfriend convinced me to go on the Aurora Borealis Tour in the Yukon. I will never forget the mesmerizing northern lights. Such a romantic (and cold) getaway. I would highly recommend it.
