Walk, bike, ride, and drive your way through Argentina’s wine country
For lovers of adventure and heavy pours alike, the Wine and Adventure in Argentina tour is an unbeatable expedition into the world-renowned wine country around Mendoza, blending the best grapes and thrilling adventures for a tour that delivers on activity and R&R at the same time.
Begin by riding horses across the countryside, experiencing Argentina as the ranchers always have. You’ll hike to see the tallest mountain in the Americas, gaping at its impossibly high summit. Then, hop on a bike and trace your way from winery to winery, tasting fine Argentinian Malbecs, Syrahs, Cab Sauvs, and more. With hiking, biking, and horseback riding on one hand and a fine glass of wine in the other, you’ll adore the Wine and Adventure in Argentina tour.
Your wine and adventure tour in Argentina begins in Mendoza, where you’ll be met at the airport and taken to your hotel (please arrive before midday). You’ll have an excursion on horseback today, crossing through incredibly beautiful natural areas. You’ll ride near the famous vineyards that surround the city.
A hot Creole dinner will be waiting for you when you return to the city.
Leave in the morning to experience the tallest mountain in the Americas, Aconcagua (6,961m, 22,838ft). You’ll enter the park that holds the mountain and begin hiking towards the Horcones Lagoon. After resting for a while at the lagoon, you’ll reach the hanging bridge over the Horcones River. Arrive at Confluencia Camp (3,400m, 11,154ft) where you’ll eat lunch with an impressive view of the tallest mountain in both the Western and Southern hemispheres. Take plenty of photos!
Note: This hike only operates on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, from November to March. If tour is taking place from April to October, this activity will be replaced with Traditional Hight Mountain Tour.
Return to Mendoza after a thrilling day.
After a big hike yesterday, it’s time to treat yourself. Take a bike-based tour to the Nieto Senetiner and Vistalba wineries, learning about their winemaking process and tasting their product, including the well-known Argentinian Malbec. These vineyards are renowned in the region and a real treat for fans of Argentinian wine (or wine in general)!
Important note: The regular bike tour operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
End the tour at Bodega Kalken, where you’ll enjoy lunch with carefully selected pairings.
Yesterday was just a taste- pun intended- of the exceptional wine culture of Argentina. Today, you’ll be visiting the Salentein Winery first, then onto the Killka Space, a gallery and shop filled with art from Argentinian artists and craftspeople. Then, continue to Domaine Busquet, a winery characterized by high-quality organic grapes. See if you can taste the changes in the wine affected by the grapes being grown at altitudes of up to 1,500 metres.
Important note: The regular Uco Valley Experience operates on Thursdays and Sundays. Salentein Winery and Espacio Killka close on Mondays.
Lunch will be served in Andeluna before transfer to a lodge in the area for the night.
Spend the morning enjoying the activities offered by the hotel before being transferred back to Mendoza for your outward flight. We recommend you to book your flight for departure after 4pm to get the most out of your last day. Adios!

I’ve been using 10Adventures route guides for a while, but had never booked a tour. My wife and I booked a self-guided hike in Greece and were so impressed with how we were able navigate the route without a guide with the detailed and easy to follow itinerary. We enjoy travelling independently, and 10Adventures made that happen.

I’ve adventured around a lot of Canada and the US, but I’ve always wanted to explore other parts of the world. I felt a bit scared before booking my trip to Israel, but my conversations with the team at 10Adventures helped ease any worry. I can’t wait to explore more of the world!

Travel companies have had to go through a lot during the pandemic but 10Adventures were super flexible and accommodating nonetheless. I had to cancel my tour in France due to the pandemic. 10Adventures was great and let me reschedule for a later date!

Whenever I’m looking for my next adventure 10Adventures never fails. Their routes all over England are my main go to for exploring and I have only had great experiences booking both guided and self-guided trips in Europe and South America with them. I am looking into Africa next.

I just got back from backpacking in the Sierra Nevada, and WOW. What an unreal journey! The alpine meadows, waterfalls, and the lakeside camping spot were memorable highlights! I wonder what other tours 10Adventures has to offer. That one went so well that I am now convinced I need to book another!

I'm not a big fan of traveling because of my fear of flying, but my girlfriend convinced me to go on the Aurora Borealis Tour in the Yukon. I will never forget the mesmerizing northern lights. Such a romantic (and cold) getaway. I would highly recommend it.
