    Climbing routes in Washington State

    State in United States

Washington State has it all, and when it comes to outdoor activities you could spend a few years exploring what the state has to offer. Explore the stunning coast, massive volcanoes, incredible mountains and so much more. Like most of the American West, the natural areas in Washington State are best explored on foot, ski or two wheels.

You could spend several holidays just starting to explore Washington State. There is the wonderful Olympic National Park, which takes in Mt. Olympus and part of the beautiful Washington State Coastline. Head NE and you hit some big mountains, including Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest and further east the legendary North Cascades National Park. The area around here is dotted with national forests and great outdoor fun.

Farther south you’ve got Mount Rainier National Park, a beautiful destination. Nearby are more volcanoes, specifically Mt. St Helens and Mt. Adams. There is certainly a lot of see and do in Washington State!
