    Route Description for Hike from Plans Mayens to Vermala

    Setting out from the trailhead in the village of Plans-Mayens, you will make your way to the east along a gentle incline with the forest on your right. After roughly the 1.4 km mark, the trail will begin to descend through the forest to bring you to the endpoint of the route. Here, you will find a transit stop to bring you back to the start of the Plans-Mayens to Vermala Hike.

    Getting to the Hike from Plans Mayens to Vermala Trailhead

    To reach Crans-Montana by car, take the exit of the A9 motorway (Rhône motorway) called "Sierre ouest". At the motorway exit, turn left and follow the signs for "Sierre". At the roundabout, turn right. Continue for 500 m, then at the entrance to Sierre, turn left following the signs for "Crans-Montana".
