In Crans-Montana, everything is just a step away, and the incredible views of the surrounding Alps can be taken in while walking the Centipede Path! Designed by school children in 2003, this walking route circles around the Crans Montana resort and is perfectly suited for a fun day outdoors.
Route Description for The Centipede Path
Setting out from the trailhead in Crans Montana, the Centipede Path will take you east through the heart of the resort, before skirting around the shores of Etang de la Moubra. From here, the path leads southwest through the forest to the Etang des Miriouges, before turning north along the edge of the golf course on the return to the starting point of the walk.
Getting to the The Centipede Path Trailhead
To reach Crans-Montana by car, take the exit of the A9 motorway (Rhône motorway) called "Sierre ouest". At the motorway exit, turn left and follow the signs for "Sierre". At the roundabout, turn right. Continue for 1640ft, then at the entrance to Sierre, turn left following the signs for "Crans-Montana". The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Crans-Montana, follow the signs for Rhodania car park.Route Information
