Racehorse Falls Loop
The Racehorse Trail Loop is an easy hike to a pretty waterfall that cascades over several tiers. The hike to the waterfall is not very challenging at all, so hikers of all ages and skill levels can enjoy this trail. It’s fun to add onto other adventures in the area or use to stretch your legs when driving. While this route can be done as an out and back, the loop gives you a bit more room to explore. Expect light traffic on this route.

Route Description for Racehorse Falls Loop
Racehorse Falls is a very pretty waterfall on Racehorse Creek that can be reached either on a short out and back or on a slightly longer loop, which this guide follows. This trail is suitable for all ages and skill levels and doesn’t tend to get very busy. Some hikers feel the route beyond the falls isn’t very entertaining, so you can turn back at any point if you don’t want to complete the full loop.
The hike begins from N Fork Road. You’ll head south through a level stretch of forest. The viewpoint is easy to find, and you can use the connecting trail at the end of the road access route to see the falls from a few different angles. Take the trail past the falls that goes uphill, then hang a left to traverse across the hill. The route then turns left to rejoin N fork Road to return you to the trailhead.
