Route Description for Compton Circular Walk
The Compton Circular Walk is located in the South Downs National Park and showcases the beauty of the English countryside. Get a workout as you wander the steady gradients that go up and down and make up this path. From the parking lot, head back to the B214. Go left, passing the pub, and continue walking along the pavement for 180 m until you reach the last house in the village. Explore the woodlands and open fields that are in abundance and prepare yourself for multiple kissing gates and one stile. Continue to follow this path along the loop in a clockwise direction and take in the stunning views of green, rolling hills and sheep and cattle grazing. As you continue along the path, you will come to the same spot where you began, as this is a circuit walk.
Getting to the Compton Circular Walk Trailhead
To get to the Compton Circular Walk from Aldershot, get on A331 in Tongham from A323 and take A31 to B3000 in Wanborough. Take the B3000 exit from A31and follow B3000 to Polsted Lane, and in 3.9 km, you will arrive at your destination.
