Route Description for East Chiltington Circular Walk
The East Chiltington Circular Walk is a lovely stroll along the English countryside where you can take in beautiful views of the South Downs National Park. Beginning at the Jolly Sportsman pub, follow the road through town, and it will take you to the church. From here, head west towards the Plumpton racecourse. You will almost reach the town of Streat, but make sure you turn left just before and head South. You will walk past Plumpton College and stumble upon Blackcap. From here, take in the views of the South Downs National Park. When you are finished, head north and continue on the path towards East Chiltington. You will arrive back at the Jolly Sportsman pub where you began.
Getting to the East Chiltington Circular Walk Trailhead
To get to the East Chiltington Circular Walk from Lewes, head northwest on Castle Banks toward Mount Pleasant/A2029 and Follow A2029, A275 and B2116 to Novington Lane. After 6.1 km, continue on Novington Lane and drive to Chapel Lane. In 2.9 km, you will arrive at your destination.
