    Route Description for Lembert Dome from Tuolumne Meadows Lodge Road

    The Lembert Dome from Tuolumne Meadows Lodge Road is an exciting excursion that exhibits all the beauty and grandeur of the Yosemite landscape. Hike up through mixed pine forest that is adorned with granite outcrops to reach the granite mountain that overlooks the verdant landscape flanked by even more granite peaks. There is no shortage of breathtaking scenery to admire here. It is important to note that the terrain is rocky and uneven in sections, so mind your footing. Yosemite National Park charges an entrance fee, refer to the NPS website for more information.

    Embark on your adventure along the Lembert Dome from Tuolumne Meadows Lodge Road from the Lembert Dome Trailhead. From here, hikers will be guided north over Tioga Pass Road and up into the pine forest. Mind your footing as you climb as the terrain is uneven and rocky. After navigating a few switchbacks, you will soon reach an intersection. Here, keep left and you will be diverted west up Lembert Dome.

    Scramble up the granite terrain to the summit of the impressive peak. From atop Lembert Dome, conquerors will be rewarded with wonderful sights of Tuolumne Meadows, Mount Dana, Cathedral Peak, Mariuolumne Dome, and more. Revel in the panoramic views of the granite landscape, then retrace your footing along the path back to your car.
