How does this work? Well, if you feel that something about your trip didn’t’ meet your expectations, let us know. We will then work to gather the details and figure out where things went wrong. If something indeed wasn’t as described, or went wrong with your trip, and the problem was within the control of either oursleves, the guide or the tour company, we will then work out a refund with you that’s proportional to the scale of the problem.
Obviously the best way to make a great trip is to tell your local guide or tour operator and give them the chance to fix the solution while you are on your trip. Most things can be solved by telling your guide when the issue develops. If that doesn’t solve it, then email us right away. Please don’t wait to voice your concerns until the trip is over, as it’s much harder to solve issues after the fact.

Arrival day in Morocco! Transfer from Marrakesh Menara International Airport to your hotel. If you arrive early in the day, spend the day exploring the wonderful city of Marrakesh. Don’t forget to get a good night’s rest to prepare you for your trekking adventure!
Drive from Marrakesh to Imi Oughlad (1,450 m/4,757’) which is along the road to Imlil. Meet your guide and Berber muleteer here and begin your trek. The first day is an easy hike in Ouirgane National Park to help you adjust to the altitude. Enjoy the gentle terrain, the lovely juniper trees, and the unique copper green soil. Walk for about 4 hours until you reach the small Berber village of Tinzert. Spend the night here in an authentic gite.

Day 3
Trek through the Azzaden Valley to Ait Aissa
Overnight Location - Gite in Ait Aissa | Distance - 5-6 hrs | Meals - Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today’s trail begins with a climb to leave the valley and cross to another, the beautiful Azzaden Valley. You’ll enjoy the view of the walnut groves and the rushing mountain stream that runs through them. You can also see the tallest peak in northern Africa, Mount Toubkal, and the stunning neighboring peaks that form the head of the river valley. Spend the night in a gite in the village of Ait Aissa.

Day 4
Trek over the Tizi n Mzik Pass to Imlil, Transfer to Marrakesh
Leave the Azzaden Valley today, climbing up through the valley toward Tizi Oussem. From here, continue climbing to the Tizi n Mzik Pass (2,489 m/8,166’) then descend again to end your trek in the village of Imlil. Enjoy eating lunch here in Imlil, then you’ll be driven back to Marrakesh. If you have the energy, explore this fascinating city and perhaps enjoy an open-air dinner in the Central Square.
Sadly, your adventure in Marrakesh just came to an end. After breakfast, you will transfer to the airport for your flight.
