Happiness Promise
There are hundreds of thousands of guides and tour operators around the world. Figuring out who to trust is stressful and hard.
That’s why we started 10Adventures Tours, we’re here to make it easy to find a great guide or tour operator. We handpick the best local guides and tour operators for 10Adventures, working to ensure you have great guides and a great trip.
We know it sucks to show up in a different country and find out the tents are junk, the guide incompetent or the route different from what we thought we were getting.
We want to give our users peace of mind that you’ll have a great trip and offer a guarantee that we will work with you to make it right.
How does this work?
Well, if you feel that something about your trip didn’t’ meet your expectations, let us know. We will then work to gather the details and figure out where things went wrong. If something indeed wasn’t as described, or went wrong with your trip, and the problem was within the control of either oursleves, the guide or the tour company, we will then work out a refund with you that’s proportional to the scale of the problem.
Obviously the best way to make a great trip is to tell your local guide or tour operator and give them the chance to fix the solution while you are on your trip. Most things can be solved by telling your guide when the issue develops. If that doesn’t solve it, then email us right away. Please don’t wait to voice your concerns until the trip is over, as it’s much harder to solve issues after the fact.
We work hard to make sure you have a great trip. If something isn’t right, please email hello@10adventures.co and we will get to work right away.

Discover the wonders of East Greenland’s landscapes and remote villages
Take the first step towards a private travel experience, customized just for you.
About this tour:
East Greenland beckons adventurers to explore its remote and isolated wilderness. With few inhabitants, most of whom are Inuit, this area draws visitors for its cultural splendour as much as its natural magnificence. The 10-day Trekking the Icefjords of East Greenland Tour pulls you into this enchanting place with cozy communities set among ethereal landscapes.
If you’re looking for an authentic outdoor adventure with comfier-than-tents accommodation, this guided tour of east Greenland is perfect for you. Hike incredible routes along unspoiled terrain, with endless astounding views of mountains, glaciers, fjords, rivers, and lakes. For a glimpse into the local cultures, you’ll visit isolated Inuit settlements, engage with locals, and observe how they live in the harsh Arctic. To reach each settlement, you will embark on breathtaking boat rides that navigate icy waters among icebergs and fjords. Discover how much life there truly is in this isolated part of the world on the Trekking the Icefjords of East Greenland Tour.
Your tour starts at the Reykjavík Airport, where you’ll meet the team and board your 2-hour flight to Kulusuk, Greenland. Once you arrive on the rocky coast, head with your guide to your hostel accommodation to drop your bags. Take a stroll around the village, looking out to see the iceberg-filled bay from the coast. In the evening, gather with your group for dinner, then get a good night’s sleep. Adventure awaits!
You have a full day to explore Kulusuk Island today. With your guide, you will take a grand walk, gathering insights on the local culture and traditions, and, of course, taking in the spectacular views. Follow the coastline, looking out to the icy Atlantic Ocean, then return to the village for a group dinner and another night in the cozy hostel.
After a hearty breakfast in Kulusuk, you will embark on a fantastic boat journey navigating the massive Ammassalik Fjord for more than 50 kilometres through numerous islands. The 1.5-hour boat ride lands on a small peninsula where you’ll find the small Inuit village of Kuummiut. Once in the village, you’ll be welcomed into a local cabin for the night.
Leaving after breakfast, your group will depart on a hike to explore the nearby fjord of Tunu. Today’s route is reasonably flat—it will be easy to enjoy the magnificent views without a challenging walk ahead of you. Enjoy the vistas of the ocean, mountains, and rich vegetation that may surprise you due to Greenland’s remote location. After this lovely hike, return to the cabin in Kuummiut to unwind and catch some zees.
After two nights in Kuummiut, you probably noticed the imposing mountain acting as the village’s backdrop. Today, you’re going to conquer that mountain! Fuel up on breakfast, then set out for your ascent. Extraordinary panoramic views await—they will be well worth the effort. Get your fill of fjords, mountains, islands, and glaciers and capture these views on your camera. Return to the cabin with a full heart and sense of accomplishment and enjoy a well-earned dinner.
Bid farewell to Kuummiut Village and embark on a 3-hour boat journey to another fantastic part of East Greenland. On the journey, you’ll witness the supernatural landscapes of the Ammassalik Fjords replete with icebergs and cliffs. Landing in the small hamlet of Tiniteqilaaq, you’ll disembark and walk to tonight’s accommodation in a rustic cabin.
Get ready for an otherworldly adventure today as you explore the Sermilik Fjord. On the route, you’ll view icy blue seas dotted with icebergs as you hike along rocky terrain. If the weather conditions allow it, you’ll be able to see the major ice cap that covers the majority of Greenland. Find peace and serenity in the small glassy lakes you pass in this unspoiled remote area. Return to the cabins in the small village for another cozy sleep.
Begin the day with a short boat ride to today’s trailhead. Get your cameras ready as you walk past waterfalls, streams, and several lakes. Interestingly, the trail you walk on today is frequented by locals, so nod hello if you pass any. The terrain transforms from rocky plains to lush fields with blooming flowers. By the late afternoon, you’ll complete the hike in East Greenland’s largest settlement of Tasiilaq. You’ll appreciate a hearty dinner tonight after the day’s long journey. Get a well-deserved sleep in a lovely guesthouse.
Enjoy breakfast leisurely—there’s no set itinerary for today. If you have the energy for something active, an optional hike around Tasiilaq is available. Otherwise, you can visit the local museum or browse the small shops for souvenirs from local artisans. In the evening, meet your group and guide for a final dinner together and rehash your highlights of this incredible trip.
Get one last stroll in before starting the journey home. First, catch a boat ride to Kulusuk Island, then catch a flight to Reykjavík Airport. The tour ends in the airport, so say your goodbyes and head home.
