Corfu and Paxos Hiking Itinerary
Day 1 Travel to Messonghi
An airport transfer will meet you at the Corfu airport to bring you to the quiet village of Messonghi. Spend the afternoon wandering the village or visit the beautiful sandy beach.

Day 2 Korission Lagoon Walk
This morning, you’ll be driven to Issos Beach on the west coast of the island. Start your walk from the beach and follow along the Korission lagoon. This area is known for its wildlife, and you should be able to see egrets, terrapins, and kingfishers.
You’ll have some beautiful views as you walk back towards the east coast and arrive in Messonghi.

Day 3 Take the Corfu Trail Through the Mountains
After breakfast, a transfer will pick you up and take you to Strongyli to begin your walk on the Corfu Trail. This path will take you up the slopes of Agii Deka, the second-highest mountain in Corfu. Talk about views!
Enjoy the shady path that works its way through mountain villages to Sinarades, where you’ll catch the bus to Corfu town. Enjoy the evening in this incredible town, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 4 Visit Beautiful Paxos
Spend the morning exploring the impressive architecture, ancient churches, and archeological museums of Corfu town. You’ll then take the three-hour ferry to idyllic Paxos, where a taxi will meet you and take you to your hotel.
The island of Paxos offers a quiet, laid-back atmosphere with secluded coves and pristine beaches. Spend the day by the azure waters or exploring the caves and cliffs of the western shore.

Day 5 Walking Exploration of Paxos
Today, you’ll be walking a loop that explores this stunning island. Start by leaving the capital of Gaios and climb up the hill through traditional rural villages. Cross to the opposite coast and discover the cliffs and Tripitos Arch.
As you walk back down to sea level, you’ll arrive at the bridge to Meganisi, where you can decide if you’d like to walk back to town or take a ferry.

Day 6 Return to Corfu to Explore the Mountains
You’ll spend the morning travelling as you take the boat back to Corfu and get driven to Rekini. Then, you’ll start your walk around the foot of Pantokrator mountain.
You’ll then rejoin the Corfu Trail and follow it through the quiet rural region of Corfu. If you’re lucky enough to be visiting in the spring, you’ll witness the orchids blooming on the slopes of the mountain!

Day 7 Cross Mount Pantokrator
Today’s walk promises spectacular views as the grand finale of your tour. You’ll walk up and across the saddle of Mount Pantokrator, from where you’ll have breathtaking views of the Albanian mountains.
As you begin your descent, you’ll pass by ancient villages, including Old Perithia, which is nearly abandoned. As you reach the north coast of Corfu, you’ll have reached the end of the Corfu Trail and your walk for today.

Day 8 Return to Corfu

Explore the White Mountains and walk at an altitude of 1,300m gazing at the white peaks surrounding you. On the south coast, you walk through beautiful gorges. It’s just wonderful!
