If something indeed wasn’t as described, or went wrong with your trip, and the problem was within the control of either oursleves, the guide or the tour company, we will then work out a refund with you that’s proportional to the scale of the problem.
Obviously the best way to make a great trip is to tell your local guide or tour operator and give them the chance to fix the solution while you are on your trip. Most things can be solved by telling your guide when the issue develops. If that doesn’t solve it, then email us right away. Please don’t wait to voice your concerns until the trip is over, as it’s much harder to solve issues after the fact.

The Tour du Mont Blanc is a not-to-be-missed trek for all mountain lovers, allowing you to explore the most beautiful landscapes of the Mont Blanc mountain range.
This is almost the complete circuit, starting at the southern end of the Chamonix Valley in Les Houches and finishing at the other end of the Chamonix Valley in Le Tour.
This route is a circuit that takes you through France, Italy and Switzerland, discover the highest peak of the Alps from all angles, as well as the amazing surrounding scenery.
As you walk along, the diversity of the different valleys on the Tour du Mont Blanc will be revealed to you. Enjoy the pleasure of hiking with a lightweight pack and nights spent in comfortable mountain refuges for an unforgettable adventure.

Itinerary for 7-day Tour du Mont Blanc
1
Day 1
Trek to Les Contamines
Overnight Location - B&B or Refuge in Les Contamines | Distance - 5 hrs 30 min, 650m (2,130 ft) ascent | Meals - Lunch, Dinner (guided only)Meet at the cable car station at 9 am for the ascent to Bellevue. The route takes you through the Col de Tricot Mountain pass and across the Alpage du Truc mountain pastures via a beautiful route along the foot of the glaciers. Night in a B&B or inn in Les Contamines.

Day 2
Over Grand du Bonhomme to Les Chapieux
Overnight Location - Refuge in Les Chapieux | Distance - 7 hrs, 1,450 m (4,750 ft) ascent | Meals - Breakfast, Lunch (guided only), DinnerThis stage to the TMB is a big one, and starts on the Roman road, which marks the start of the climb up to the Col du Bonhomme and the Col des Fours Mountain passes. In the afternoon, you will join the Les Chapieux valley at the end of the Tarentaise, home of the famous cheese.

Day 3
Walk into Italy and the Aosta Valley
Overnight Location - Refuge in Maison Vieille | Distance - 6 hrs, 1,100 m (3,600 ft) ascent | Meals - Breakfast, Lunch (guided only), DinnerOn the third day of your walk, it will already be time to enter a new country. After a superb climb with Mont Blanc ahead of you, you will pass through the Col de la Seigne, a route linking France and Italy. This will take you into the Aosta Valley via Val Veni and the Italian side of Mont Blanc is revealed. The evening is spent in a comfortable refuge.

Day 4
Through Courmayeur to Refuge Bonatti
Overnight Location - Refuge Bonatti | Distance - 6 hrs, 1,100m (3,600 ft) ascent | Meals - Breakfast, Lunch (guided only), DinnerThe day begins with a descent into the old village of Courmayeur. You will then climb up towards the Bertone refuge to enjoy amazing views over the Mont Blanc Mountain range. Simply breathtaking! The day will be rounded off with a beautiful traverse to the Bonatti refuge, marking the end of a stunning stage.
Note that luggage cannot be delivered to Rifugio Bonatti, so you will need to pack an overnight bag on this day.

Day 5
Hike into Switzerland!
Overnight Location - Inn in La Fouly (Shared room) | Distance - 6 hrs 30 min, 900m (2,950 ft) Ascent | Meals - Breakfast, Lunch (guided only), DinnerOn the fifth day of walking, you will enter another new country on your Tour du Mont Blanc! After a climb with magnificent views of Mont Dolent, you will cross the Grand Col Ferret mountain pass into Switzerland. The day ends with a gentle descent to the mountain pastures of La Peule and the small village of La Fouly, a picture postcard setting in the Valais.

Day 6
High Level Traverse above Rhone Valley
Overnight Location - Inn in Trient (Shared room) | Distance - Option 1: 5 hrs, 715m (2,345 ft) ascent Option 2: 7 hrs, 915m (3,000 ft) ascent | Meals - Breakfast, Lunch (guided only), DinnerAfter a short transfer in Val Ferret to Champex, you will embark on a beautiful high-level traverse above Martigny and the Rhone valley. In the distance, the vineyards bear witness to the canton’s wine production. Depending on how the group feels and current conditions, there may be an option to take the Fenêtre d’Arpette route and enjoy a beautiful alpine setting. Your guide will make the best decision

Day 7
Back to the Chamonix Valley
Overnight Location - None | Distance - 5 hrs, 1,000m (3,280 ft) Ascent | Meals - Breakfast, Lunch (guided only)Your last day on the TMB and time to return to France. Views over the Chamonix valley open up on the way down, as you enjoy a final breathtaking moment before arriving at the village of Le Tour, which marks the end of your adventure.

Meals
The guided tour option includes 6 breakfasts, 7 lunches, 6 dinners, as well as some snacks are included on the 7-day Tour du Mont Blanc Tour. Self-guided tour includes 6 breakfasts and 6 dinners in gites or mountain huts along the route, but you can order lunches for an extra charge.
Accommodations
Accommodation for 6 nights is included. Accommodation before and after the tour can be added as a supplement.
Transportation during the Tour
Transportation for your luggage is included during the tour. No other transport is included. The transfer of one piece of luggage per person is provided every day between the different accommodations (except on the evening of day 4 to the Bonatti Hut). One soft bag per person, of a maximum of 12kg each (duffle bag type).
