Conques is home to an ancient abbey and pilgrim’s bridge, both listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites and of great importance to pilgrims on the Le Puy Camino. The Saint Faith Abbey Church of Conques houses a golden reliquary statue dating to the 9th century, making it a fascinating encounter with ancient history.
